One of the many things,(cuckoo,sky line,bluebell woods,cutting holly from the local trees in Holden Clough) missed by choosing to take the big bird to fly over the big pond.
The North American Robin compared to the pictured one is a Caterpillar(as in earth mover)

You're making very good use of your telephoto lens Mark. I keep promising myself a drive over to the Nook but not got around to it yet - perhaps next year. The thing that really puts me off coming over is negotiating the junction of the M61 and M60. I always seem to hit standing traffic these days and I get very frustrated by it- not like years ago when I had a clear run.

Taken with a crappy iPhone 4s backlit with an LED head torch in a very very cold Scout Tunnel just 2 weeks ago, I'm so glad to be sweltering in 37 degree heat back in Kiwi-land  ;)
