Hi Bill,...........Gulp! Gulp! Gulp!.............What a turn on for the Market. Had no idea you were going to have such a "posh" Market Square. Looking forward to seeing the end product.
Thank you for the Posting, shall follow with much interest. Please keep the pictures coming.

Mid Autumn here now, 13C low at night and beautiful pleasant days around 25C. Am waiting for family coming from England next week for a visit. Hope that this weather remains whilst they are here, not to hot and not to cold.

Here are a couple of restored photos from my archive taken in 1974.

The first was taken from the towpath of Fairbottom Canal looking towards Valley Farm, Bardsley and Hartshead Pike.



The second was taken from the Boodle footpath looking down on the River Medlock. To the right were the grounds of Riversvale Hall.

Great to see those pictures SoN.  Coincidentally, the dandelion shot was taken in the field bottom right of your second shot!
