More great images through your lens, Bill.
Never noticed that box/balcony? on the old Pavilion building.
East meets West in Ashton's Westend too. St Peter's and your recent pics of the new mosque, very thought-provoking!
Thanks for all your efforts and to Vanessa and Chris for their 'movie' contributions, all enjoyed immensely by this ex-Ashtonian.
You're only given a little spark of madness, don't waste it!

Tramway at the Village Hotel roundabout

It's looking quite advanced now. They've even got the overhead wires in place along Lord Sheldon Way. Most puzzling that they are still saying that it won't open until next winter.

There's a rumour that the line will be open to Droylsden by Xmas but even the latest TfGMC release  doesn't give any firm dates.

  Hi
Great Pictures Bill I don't know how you do it I wobble a bit to much.,when I take them. About  half turn out not bad. But I can't compose them like you do. I liked the one of the Pavilion the building looks a better than it was in the fifties. Were did the Sallys go to when it changed into a furniture place they used to be next door.                            herby
