More lovely Photo's but on Butter Flies saw lots of Red Admirals last year and the White ones were like swarms near me but only seen a handful this year Fudge

Mark – your photos have prompted me to raid the dark recesses of my own photo collection and I have found a couple taken from similar places to your last two scenes. They are not meant to be ‘artistic’ but simply reminders of that particular day. I used to love walking round the Boodle and canal after school when there was not another soul about.

I took this one from the Boodle path looking towards Daisy Nook in the winter of 1966 just as dusk was beginning to fall. That path always seemed to be muddy!



You will know where this one is as I think it corresponds to your last scene. Taken in the winter of 1975.

I think they're very artistic SoN... superb colours and light.  They also bring back great memories for me.  I lived in Newton Heath in the 60's and a long walk or drive to Daisy Nook was always a treat.  If you have more please do post them here.  Mark.
