hi i know this topic was on the old board , and there were a few of the old boys that went there so i thought it would be a good topic to continue , i went there from 1960 to 1964 , the house that i was in was crompton and the headmaster was mr rogers , deputy head was mr donnely , i thought it was a good school and there are many memories of the school on the old board  :D

Kia Ora LCGI, you've got me stumped as to what the letters in your username represent  ;)

Licentiateship of the City and Guilds of London Institute ?

Local Common Gateway Interface ?

Leadership & Church Growth International ?

Littlemoss Country Golf Institute  :) ?

This definition tells you all you need to know about 'PC'
PC, aka, Political Correctness, is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority (Liberals/Socialists) and promoted by the mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is possible to pick up faeces by the clean end.

Do you think I should have a cigar to mark the occasion ?  ;)

Do they still sell those sweet cigarettes?  Probably not - but if they did you could allow yourself a packet I think :-)

Kennyo  Re Sea Cadets;   Do you remeber the Cadet who led most of the parades He was an impecably dressed cadet Who certainly looked the part.
Well, when he had to go in the forces he joined the Airborne and was KIA at Arnhem, Do you recall his name or?????

Talking of Cadets I was in the Air group and we had two Sqn's 247 and I think 525  We also had a smart young chap called Carter he was Flt Sgt always led the parades Unfortunately he  became an Air Gunner and was killed early 1945 over Greece I think. I got to the lofty height of Cpl then went and joined the Navy cause they took entrants in at 16 and 9 months whereas RAF had to wait till 17 and 3 months
I have just come back to this  post because I forgot my Password etc  so I rejoined.
