active update 4482.14.4

Hi  All
 does anyone have trouble with this active update it appears on the right hand side of the screen .it happens the first time each day i turn on the computer . looked at blogs on it some say it will download a virus AOL dont know anything there is nothing on the help pages .How can i get rid of it .I have kaspersky 2010 installed so in theory i should not get anything like that should I

AOL should know about it as it would appear to be one of their own updates, according to a couple of websites I looked at.

One person suggested searching in Windows Explorer for a file called "anotify.exe" and re-naming it (so that the name can be changed back if that causes a problem) although other people don't recommend messing with AOL's files at all.

Not being an AOL user this is all a mystery to me.

One suggestion is to download the free programme Ccleaner from http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

There's an option within the programme - > Tools > Startup - which shows you which programmes automatically run when your computer starts.

It gives you the option to disable the startup procedure (the safe option till you find out what the update 4482.14.4 programme is) or to delete it.
