hi i was watching the chelsea flower show today it showed the flowers and they were invited to the bees they do not seem to be effected , kenyo the bees in your part of the world seem to be ok , i believe they take the bee hives from canada to pollinate the almons trees  in califonia then bring them back after the flowering season ,

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

How does the little box under your posts know the colour of shirt I'm wearing?

You can get your own from danasoft.com but to be honest more than one on any forum is one too many  ;)

I'll take mine down when I see another so others can have a play  :)

Edited to add "Just one on a forum can be one too many"
;)

I think all those bees were trying to get into my chimney yesterday. It was very warm and sunny and we were out in the garden when we were alerted by a loud buzzing. We looked up and there was a huge swarm of bees zooming around our chimney. We recently had the chimney swept and the chimney pot capped. I was worried that we'd barred them from their nest. we rang the local beekeeper's association but as yet have not had anyone return the call. The bees have since disappeared so will look again today- they are most active mid-day apparently.  It's 1.05pm  off to check   :)

Coming home.

I read that a species of bumblebee which was taken to New Zealand over a hundred years ago and which has become rare in the UK is to be imported from New Zealand.

Is Kiwi fetching some over with him.

Hi Bill, not really sure but this could be a cunning plan by the Aussies to get Kim Il Wotsisname to test fire his nukes at us instead of next door  ;)
