Vote for Corry

I think its about time that miserable dreary Eastenders lost its crown. Coronation Street is far better, yet every year it fails to win the top award.
So come on everyone, get voting.

I've voted for Corry, because like Vanessa, I can't stand the crying miserableness of Eastenders.  Haven't watched it for ages.  Secretly though Emmerdale is my favourite.

Add one more vote for Corry St, we're only about 2 years behind on Kiwi TV, Mrs Kiwi used to try and watch it years ago but gave up because couldn't understand some of the accents, however since being shacked up with moi for 20 odd years she reckons she's developed an ear for the dialects, well either that or there's too many folk from south of Stockport on the show  :)

Well, Eastenders did it again, Best Soap. WHY!!!!! Or is it just that Corrie fans don't need to be told its the best because they already know it. Shame though, I've tried to watch Eastenders, but the story lines are rubbish, everyones miserable, and the only way they can kill someone off is by running them down in the square, a dangerous place that, you'd think they would have put speed bumps down by now.

I`m in full agreement over the Eastenders/Coronation Street saga on here. Can`t understand why such rubbish as Eastenders seems to walk away with the title every year. It`s nothing but doom and gloom every episode, whereas Coronation Street has the right amount of misery and merriment to make it possibly more realistic. All I can surmise is that there must be an awful lot of people who "enjoy" misery at it`s best, in Eastenders.

Most likely a North/South divide type of thing.  More people in the south to vote for a miserable accent they're used to.
