Does anyone ,who lived in Cockbrook, remember Erica Lomas from the late 50's-early 60's? She lived at the top end of St James' St and went to Ashton grammar with me. She would be in her 60's now. :-\

I use to work with a Erica Lomas who use to go to St Gabriels Church but was quite a bit older than the one you are asking about but she had a daughter who would be about that age now but I can't remember her name Fudge

An Erica M Lomas married an Albert HAMER in 1978.
On the electoral roll they are down as living in Ashton 2002-2009:

Thank you all. I'm so grateful for the help. I have found a phone no and address now so I will delve further. Erica and I were inseparable at school. Denise ;)

If its the same Erica Hamer I did my nurse training with, she is on the photograph I posted on the Memory Lane section under the title, Nurses. She is standing on the far right with her arms folded. Bumped into her late last year in the Doc's waiting room, hadn't seen her for years.

Hi Vanessa. Thanks, now I can put a face to the name. Had a long catch-up phone call last evening, with many laughs as you can imagine. Erica went on to be a midwifery tutor.  8)
