Hi All,

My first track would be "Running Bear" by Johnny Preston, which was number #1, 17th March 1960.

My second would be "Good Timin" by Jimmy Jones, which was number #1, 7th July 1960.

Just a thought........

Those are two of my favourite tracks from that era also. Did you know that 'Running Bear' was actually recorded in 1958 and sat on the record company's shelf for 2 years until its release in 1960? Also that the chap doing the "Umbah umbahs" in the background was The Big Bopper who was killed in the plane crash with Buddy Holly?

Hi daftjack, well mate, everything that was recorded and released in UK by; The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones or The Small Faces - would all fit into this category.
