Saw him on tv last night in The Invisible Man from 1959 - playing a baddie! (Talking Pictures TV). I seem to remember my Mum telling me she knew him slightly. She grew up on Mellor Road, Ashton and I think he attended the school that was at the junction of Stamford Street and Montague Road.

Yes That was were St Gabriel's it is now San Rocco Italian Fudge
