It is right what you say Son of Nomad we need a good house keeper. You can give the same amount of money to your Children and one will spend it right away and not think of the consequences the other will still have some left a month later being more careful with the choices they have made Fudge

The general election is not about the EU, it is about saving the NHS, stopping the persecution of the poor, sick and disabled, keeping education equal for all and housing. If you are happy to see the NHS dismantled then go ahead and not vote Labour, I just hope that you are never sick or find yourself in hard times. You are NOT voting for Jeremy Corbyn, you are voting for Labour policies, he does not dictate these, the Labour party as a whole does. All I can say that anyone thinking of voting Tory or any other part in these hard times, should look at their conscience and truly believe they are doing the right thing. A vote to keep the Tory government will see the end of the NHS as we know it and the continuing persecution of the poor, sick and disabled. It's up to you.

You're confusing Communism with Socialism, they're different things.
Strange, I always thought USSR meant Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Is this the same Labour Party that voted for Steptoe as leader or did a different Labour Party vote him in ?.
In my humble opinion the NHS is a victim of its own micro-management, too many vested interests, perhaps it's time to replace managers with matrons and cut down on admin and pen pushers.
The middle-of-the-road UK voter isn't impressed with Steptoe nor with the percentage representation of all ethnicities, genders and shades of 'red' politics nor the in-fighting in the parliamentary party. The party needs to sell itself with honesty (possible?) and verve. It needs to cut the ancient, outmoded PC, psycho-babble of the Marxist, Leninist Far Left loonies and come and join the mainstream, progressive middle ground.

When the only thing Labour can do is count on the Greens... surely voters will continue to show their smarts by returning the present government.

I saw this on Facebook, it puts my feelings across very well. It always amazes me how people who no longer live in the UK think they know everything about its politics, Kiwi, you obviously know nothing  about Corbyn, you are just repeating the words of the gutter press.

People need to stop vocusing  on saying they won't vote labour because of Jeremy Corbyn because he's been trashed by the Murdoch media empire. They drip feed hate like a bubonic plague sore.
You vote Labour or anti Torkip to save the NHS, protect universal education, protect the rights of the disabled, to save more children being driven into poverty. You do it to protect your working and non working rights. You do it to stop the mass deportations that Mayhem and her New UKIP party will start.
Already people who have lived here decades, married to UK citizens who have British children are being deported. What will it be like when Torkip have a free hand, when the human rights act has being assassinated. We have one protection and that is our votes.
So get off your fucking arses if you are thinking of not voting, get off your arses if you are thinking of voting anti-corbyn though you like Labour policies and get of your arses and make any friends you have who are thinking of voting Torkip what 5 more years will mean. 15% of the elite will benefit the rest of us will suffer.
National debt doubled since 2010 it's now 85% of GDP and it's the ordinary tax payer who must bay that, Austerity has failed it hurts those that need help the most.
Every vote not Tory is a protest vote against them. The minute you say I can't change things is the moment you become a passive Tory. Fight back don't Fight less - hulk :)

Kiwi, there is a difference between Communism and Socialism, if you don't understand that, then there is no point in discussing the election because you haven't got a clue.

There's a thing called the internet, you may have heard of it, there's a wealth of different opinions on a whole range of subjects on it, most people no longer need the "gutter press" to make their minds up for them and I consider myself to be able to detect bulldust when I see it, after all I've been spinning it for years  ;) To be truthful Facebook is the last place I'd be looking if I wanted an informed opinion.

Socialism is Diet Communism, even the frogs (spit) knew to reject it last Saturday.

I've not seen a lot of mention of one of the most noxious gases produced by petrol cars, Carbon monoxide,  that's the one that kills you if you run a petrol engine in a closed environment.
How much of this do diesels contribute to the environment ? Virtually none, diesels emit negligible amounts of the stuff but the government vilifies diesel emissions by concentrating on carbon dioxide emissions which are absorbed by plants which then produce oxygen from it so reasonable amounts of CO2 are NOT harmful!!
All this anti - diesel publicity is a deliberate 'spin' by successive governments trying to get as much tax revenue from fuel as possible by blackening the name of the more economical diesel fuel.
