Hi everyone,  I've not been on here for a while, it's very lax of me and I must catch up with all your news.
Some of you may remember our friend, Nan, you may not have seen her on here recently either.
Thought I'd let you know that her beloved husband of 53 yrs, Ken, lost his 2yr battle with cancer yesterday, Thursday.  As you can imagine she's absolutely devastated - they were childhood sweethearts 😔
You're only given a little spark of madness, don't waste it!

Please pass on my condolences also. It takes that intestinal fortitude to battle these overwhelming obstacles to life. The sufferer is at rest, it is the surviving partner who requires support as the look into what seems a very dark lonely future. Ayess

I would just like to thank you for the lovely messages. It is nice to know my family and I have so many friends thinking of us at this sad time. Hopefully, I will be able to spend a bit more time on the forum once I get back on an even keel. It's just very hard at the moment.. Love to you all. xx

Hi everyone. I am feeling more able to chat on here now so will try to read all the posts that I have missed. It has been very hard the past few months as those of you in the same position will appreciate, but I am trying to get my life back to normal. Luckily, I have made many friends where I now live, and they have helped me a lot. I have good days and bad days, but hopefully more of the former than the latter as time goes on. Once again, Thank you all for your messages. They mean a lot to me and my family. xx
