hi are you for saving ashtons armoury are do you think its another old building that wants pulling down , i think it should remain as it is a part of ashton history and  the manchester regiment it should be turned in to a museum , for the history of ashton   http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/battle-save-historic-military-building-8439583   :(

I think it should be saved I did a tour of it a couple of years ago with the History Forum it was a great building Fudge

The M.O.D. can't just pull it down, even though it is not listed, as it is in the Conservation Area, which has stricter rules applying. (As when New Charter wanted to pull Cavendish House down a year ago.)
