In recent years it has been updated, I believe there's a youth centre and there's an enclosed ball game area.

Yes it's behind the former Co-op, you can see it on my video.
Talking of video's, I got a windscreen mount for my video camera and tried it out today by driving through Waterloo up to Bardsley and back, I haven't had a chance to edit and upload yet. but will as soon as I can.

Here's the promised video in case you miss the link in another thread, because of the bright sunlight there is some reflection in the windscreen at times, but I'm pleased with the result.

Thanks for the video Vanessa, brought back many memories, shame to see Fletchers sweet shop on Ney St has gone,c'est la vie.
Thanks to all other subscribers too. My mother lived on Worthington St until she passed away. She moved there from Downshaw Rd.
