80th anniversary of mass trespass on Kinder Scout
« on: April 26, 2012, 03:17 PM »
There was a mass trespass in 1932 which marked a long campaign to achieve more access to the countryside. Of course  it didn't go down well with landowners and some people went to prison. There's a wonderful tiled wall in New Mills Station which commemorates the mass trespass.
