Wonderful actress from another era and one of my favourites, Jennifer Jones has died aged 90 - famous for roles in - 'Love is a Many Splendoured Thing', Song of Bernadette and Towering Inferno.  Also died, Roy Disney, 79, nephew of Walt.

She will be missed after all them years of service. She must have enjoyed it to do it for so long cooking and cleaning . Made me laugh when it said chips 1/2 pence a bag they are a pound a bag now. I remember when I was young Fish and Chips  with peas were 1shilling and sixpence 5 bob for a meal of 4 because you would share the chips, Not much change from a 20 pound note these days. Fudge

Another legend, Jean Simmons, has died at the age of 80. She was born in England and starred in many all-time classics, i.e. 'Spartacus' with Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis. Also Charles Dickens' 'Great Expectations' at the age of 14.            Denise   :(
