Fond memories of another household name, Ian Wallace, died 12/10 aged 90. A true baritone!  Denise   :)

Just realised who is wife was - Michelle Dotrice, Frank Spencer's (Michael Crawford) wife, Betty, in 'Some Mother's Do Have 'em'.
Apparently he also recorded a couple of LP's, Fudge. Here's a beautiful memory of that heart that's ceased to throb.  Denise   :(

RIP Edward , I remember him most in Callan , remember the swinging light bulb at the beginning of each episode ,the black leather gloves and his side kick who stunk to high heaven . I think Callan was iconic , he was an anti hero type , always alone and on the verge of going crazy,Didn,t he also have some songs released? Perhaps I,m wrong but I think he recorded Macarthar Park years ago ?

Richard Harris did Macarthur Park, thats the version I remember from my childhood,my mum driving me crazy on it. I then heard it again a few years later,by Donna Summer  :)

Lovely fellow.
I have him on the EE episodes.
I remember watching him and thinking, what a terrible actor they've dug up for this character.
Once the plot unfolded it made sense and you saw what a brilliant performance it was.
Any one remember Patrick, (Rudolph Walker) in 10 Rillington Place?

Another classic,Ian. Rudolph Walker played the chap who moved into Christie's empty house and found the walled-up bodies of his victims. All the more horrific because it was all true!
Rudolph also in 'Love Thy Neighbour', of course. Denise

Hi paul_b,  Yes, he is.  If you look back at recent postings you'll see we were discussing the sad loss of Edward Woodward and his role in Eastenders, leading to roles played by Rudolph Walker (Patrick). As usual, one topic often leads to another on here!  Denise  :)
