Our walk Today

Here

A walk down the old Ashton to Oldham Railway, I had to abandon filming when we got half way, as the heavens opened, I can't ever remember getting so wet !

What's the scooter thingie? I want one. I just couldn't place any of the locations- where was the steep incline with wooded area to one side?

Hi Meg, the scooter thingy is new that all the kids go mad for, you sway from side to side whilst on it, and it propels you along .
We came off the railway track where it crosses the road, and turned right, if you walk to the very top of the hill it brings you onto Lees road .

Angie has also noticed, i have put 2011 on the title, and it's 2012 doh  :-[

That's Holden Clough, Meg. Then up the path to Alt Hill lane and to Lower Alt Hill, showing the red brick Methodist chapel (Primitive then later Weslyan).
