Ashton seems deserted nowadays when we are driving through even on a Friday night, its sad. My favourite pub exp. was on holiday in Caister, gt Yarmouth in August and christmas tree decs and cards still up. This was probablly in the 90's but it still makes me smile.

My son delivered papers for local newsagent at hurst cross as I did years ago from cockbrook but he also did the advertiser and how I remember that cos I and daughter used to put all leaflets in and help deliver them. Our advertiser stopped about 6 weeks ago and although I used to enjoy reading it must admit hadnt been reading it recently. Just been reminded it was called Booths at cockbrook and I worked for Robert Booth.

Cityville is fun but its the only one I play as it takes up too much time, am on level 78 and my husband is on 79 so bit of competition as well. I also keep in touch with family and friends via the site.
