i had to walk it once during the manchester blitz to get to work because there was no busses going into that mess..as we were walking we could see the red sky and it wasn't the sunset. we didn'tknow  if fergy  pailin was still standing but it was thank god..we never knew what to exspect from one day to the next during the war did we?? but we just kept dancing and singing along hoping for the best cheers   kennetho.

yes those were the days for sure i was there when the big bands came, after ted heath finished one night we were talking to jock  chishome the trombone player and he asked us what we did for a living at the time i was at fergusonand pailins he said these jobs traveling all over and one night stands are the pits you cant beat a nine  to  five  job they are the best words of wisdom from jock. cheers kennetho

sometimes  we would go upstairs on thursday nights and watch the oldtime dancing the dancing we did on saturday nights would be oldtime dancing today i guess???  kennetho
