Genealogy / Mcmurdo
« on: November 29, 2011, 08:03 PM »
Hi Is anyone still on Scottish people who could do me a look up to see if they can find a marriage and a death in Dumfrieshire of a Francis Coltart Little Mcmurdo the m could have been any time after 1871 or even later after 1884 .His death I don't know he was born 1845. He is a mystery but we now think he fathered a daughter called Lilly Coupland Little Mcmurdo out of wedlock we have got her marriage giving Fathers name as George her Grandfather was George Mcmurdo and Granmothers maiden name Copeland They had a daughter named Mary and there is a record of a child being born with that name to a Mary no father. I have been on the hunt for this Man since 2006 any help would be really appreciated Fudge

General Discussion / Japan's Earthquake
« on: March 11, 2011, 01:53 PM »
I have just been watching the News on the Earthquake and tsunami in Japan it is so sad to see the devastation again in another country and must think of everyone who is suffering and we have to remember how vulnerable we are to Natural disasters. It seems they are happening more and more now and I often wonder if it is because of technology and how we treat this planet that is causing them. I just hope the Volcano that is in Yellow Stone park does not erupt as it as been predicted it is just a matter of time and will effect this planet. Fudge
