hi for a while radio ruled then came tv which ruled and radio is fighting back, but i have memories of the radio and tv in its  early years , but tv was not on all day and just two channels love the test card and the dot was even better lol :) great web site too shy its got all the radio and tv from the early days  :)

hi kiwi use to watch all them crackerjack what memories ,here some radio rekindled LCGI have a go joe wilfred pickles  you won a jar of pickled onions lol , mrs dale diaries ,and the shipping forecast , and tv super car , torchie the battery boy , and ivanhoe , william tell , robin hood  :D

Hi do you spend the time listening to radio or watching TV I was brought up on radio so I do listen to radio when I am i n during the day l remember what I use to listen to the archers ,desert island disc, workers play time ,mothers hour ,family favourites,and forces favourite's, billy cottons band show,what use to be your favourite .😊

hi vanessa went to see your art work yesterday at the library art gallery they were fantastic loved the spread eagle and the big portland basin was it the canal festival they use to have ? the pictures that you painted i could relate to them all the whit walks at mossley the fare at daisy nook ,they were so detailed  any one that not been should go , i will be going again  :) :)

Hi joyce could pegotty been a card game where you had all the cards face down and you had to get match by turning two cards over? If that's not it someone will come up with your your answer i know that games played in different parts of the country had had a different name but I found the games that were made up were the best  ;D

hi as any one been watching the partition of india and pakistan 70 years ago today they got there independence from british rule  it was so sad to see families displaced and the amount of people that lost there lives but they could not live with each other at the time and till this date can't so sad

hi the crowthorn  pub is now finished and they have opened as flats ,also passed the ring o bells looks like work is going on ? or they are pulling it down ?and the wood cock on newmarket road work is still going on i don't think it will be a pub any more , along with the swan at cock brook doors still shut  :(

hi i see one tradition as been taken to australia and still done today , thats clog dancing took there by a descendant from ashton-under -lyne who was related to craig revel horwood , it was on who do you think you are at 9.00pm thursday on bbc  :D
