Round and About / SHOPS IN ASHTON
« on: February 08, 2018, 12:51 PM »
hi i see another town centre stores closing and moving out argos and moving in with sainsburys ashton moss  , i think the argos at the snipe retail park will remain , and another proposed closer at denton crown point marks & spencer out let store not much to go there for if it closes after british home store closed and tesco home and ware , there was talk that the arcades in ashton was going to extend but i would say there are not enough stores to fill the arcades the only place worth shopping now is the in door market ,as the out side market as been designed all wrong, and has been on a decline sad, the down turn was when marks & spencer ashton town centre closed what are your views on this  ???

Hi its not been taken down to be cleaned they have not replaced it only pieces of paper for the public to comment on should the painting stay or go my reply would be keep the painting when the PC lobby try and dictate what's art and not art things have gone a bit to far  :)

General Discussion / LORD MAYOR FUND
« on: January 26, 2018, 12:17 PM »
HI I see andy burnham wants a extra 6to 18 towards the austerity fund will that entail the rise we get every twelve months on our council tax, or will the 6  !8 be over  12 months and not monthly .i think when they demand.! it get our back up ,i still blame the government for causing the austerity and i can see it only getting worse north of watford will they then blame brexit more money is spent down south and with this extra payment will we see more police on the streets and better services like transport and services that are running on the minimum budget  and the homeless [rough sleepers which is going worse throughout greater manchester we will see  what the next twelve month brings before we can judge the mayor who as been thrown in to a job which as been underfunded , blame the government again for that
