At the moment there is some one covering services for 2 Years all Churches are struggling to keep going as there is very few people going in to the Ministry  Albion Church as had none for aprox 3 years I would think that St Michaels as some sort of listing but if you have know one to run the building they just close the doors it is so sad  Fudge

We'll this hot sunny weather is continuing it is great to go out still without  coats sleep with no covers but I think it is terrible to say that there is a water shortage we have had months of rain for the last few years and if they spent money on underground reserv5s we should have enough water hope everyone is enjoying the weather Fudge

So sorry they did not make the final they did us proud but football is a funny old thing it just all about luck as I have said before you can be the best team and lose to a hopeless team but Croatia was a good team as well and I rather it was won like that than go to penalties as I always hate that Fudge xx

« on: June 18, 2018, 03:33 PM »
Whit Walks 2018 Yesterday well another year the walks went ahead the weather was a lot cooler and dull but the rain kept of there were 6 Churches taking part 1st St James,2nd Christ Church,3rd Albion and Christians from Hurst, 4thSt Gabriels ,5th St Michaels and 6th St Peter's. The hymns were What a friend we have in Jesus,The Lord is my Shepherd and How great thou art. the Scripture reading was from Phillippians 2 5-11 read by the Mayor Denise Ward  this year there was only one Rose Queen who was from Christ Church. The turn out this year was higher than last year and was well attend on St Michaels car Park but Not many on the walk. it was noticed that our local MP was missing again for the 2nd year running Robert Sheldon never missed a walk. next years walk will be on Sunday the 16th June 2019     Fudge
