A Peaceful and Blessed Easter to you too, Fudge and to everyone on the forum.

Lovely Spring day here yesterday, made even better by the annual Easter Passion play performed in various areas of the High St. Always well-attended and all the local churches involved, a brilliant and professional effort.   :)

Hope you are all having a wonderful Easter Holiday. I spent mine in Colne in Lancashire and had a great time. We went over to Bury market on saturday and bought such things as oven-bottom muffins, wimberry pies, dinky meat pies etc etc!! The market there is wonderful nearly as good as Ashton's! I had forgotten how good wimberry pie actually is!!! Also, I lost count of the number of times I was called 'love'!!! The metropolitan elite hate that sort of thing but I bet it never dies out in the County Palatine!! It was great to be back in the north again!!!

Also, I lost count of the number of times I was called 'love'!!!

The only place where I have been addressed as "love" by other blokes is in Barnsley, which I don't believe to be a gay enclave...

In Edinburgh you get called "Hen "which is" Honey" shortened, I worked with a very nice girl from Devon and she called the patients "My Dear " with a lovely Devon accent

Typical grotty Easter weather here on the Fylde Coast (cold, wet and windy) though we seem to have missed the worst of storm Katie. Where would you rather be?

Typical Easter here in Kiwi-land, 100mph winds and lashings of rain as the arse end of the second cyclone in as many weeks takes aim at us, hopefully it'll be well gone by Friday night. Mrs Kiwi and I will be snuggled up at the beach, no phoneline, no cellphone coverage, no telly, no internet, just us and the dog, plenty of books and games, was gonna take the kayak and do some fishing but I'm a bit old for stuffing about in 20ft waves so I'll just take the kites instead.

Wishing you all a safe, peaceful and happy cosmic jewish zombie holiday  ;)
